Tour Overview
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast in Arusha, depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds. Enjoy a full-day game drive spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, and diverse birdlife. Picnic lunch inside the park. In the late afternoon, drive to your lodge for dinner, relaxation, and overnight surrounded by nature.
Day 2: Tarangire – Lake Manyara National Park
After an early breakfast, travel to Lake Manyara National Park, a lush sanctuary set beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Enjoy game drives searching for tree-climbing lions, hippos, elephants, and flamingos along the lake shore. Enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing wildlife viewing. Later, transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Lake Manyara – Central Serengeti
Depart after breakfast toward the endless plains of the Serengeti. Enjoy a scenic drive through Ngorongoro highlands with stunning views. Upon arrival in Serengeti National Park, begin an afternoon game drive encountering wildebeest, zebras, lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Dinner and overnight at your safari camp under the African night sky.
Day 4: Full Day Serengeti Safari
Spend a full day exploring Serengeti National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. Witness incredible wildlife interactions across vast savannahs, following predators and grazing herds. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness while surrounded by nature. Optional sunrise balloon safari available. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight rest.
Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Serengeti before heading to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Travel through breathtaking landscapes while spotting wildlife along the way. Stop for lunch en route, then arrive at your lodge near the crater rim. Relax, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the next day’s crater adventure.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular game drive in one of Africa’s greatest wildlife havens. Spot the Big Five, including the rare black rhino, along with flamingos and hippos. After lunch, ascend the crater and drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzania safari.
