Nora is one of the first women to qualify as a safari guide in Tanzania. She founded Savanna Soul Safaris in 2025 after years guiding for other operators, and still leads trips herself.
In the vehicle
If the light is good and the cats are hunting, you stay. If the group has had enough by three, you go back to camp. Nobody is driven around to fill a day.
Nora knows the clean bathrooms, the shady lunch spots and the places worth getting out of the vehicle on every road she drives, and she plans them into the route.
Each evening she talks you through the next day: the drive, the hours, what the park is like at that time and what you have a real chance of seeing.
