Booking terms

Every safari we sell is private and tailored, so nothing on this site is a fixed package. When you send an inquiry we build an itinerary and a quote for your dates and your party, and we send both to you in writing. That document is the offer. Nothing is held until you accept it.

Quotes hold for a stated period. Park fees, camp rates and exchange rates move, so a quote that has expired may need to be rebuilt.

A deposit confirms your dates and the rest is due before you travel. The deposit amount, the date the balance falls due, and what happens if you cancel or change your dates are all confirmed in writing with your itinerary, before you pay anything.

Some camps and lodges set their own cancellation terms in peak season. Where that applies we say so in the same document, next to the dates it affects.

What is included and what is not is listed on each safari page, and again on the itinerary we send you. Read that list rather than assuming: it is the honest answer for that trip. Optional activities are priced separately and only added if you ask for them.

We will tell you honestly where the wildlife is likely to be on your dates. We will never promise a sighting, because nobody can. Weather, road conditions and park regulations can change a day's plan. When that happens your guide will explain the change and offer the best alternative.

Travel insurance is your responsibility and we ask every guest to arrive with it, covering medical care, evacuation and cancellation. Visa and vaccination requirements depend on your passport, so check them with your own authorities well before you travel. Our FAQ covers what most guests ask.
